ROUND DAX Function (Math and Trig)

Rounds a number to a specified number of digits.

Syntax

ROUND ( <Number>, <NumberOfDigits> )
Parameter Attributes Description
Number

The number you want to round.

NumberOfDigits

The number of digits to which you want to round. Negative rounds to the left of the decimal point; zero to the nearest integer.

Return values

Scalar A single decimal value.

The rounded number.

Remarks

If NumberOfDigits is greater than 0 (zero), then number is rounded to the specified number of decimal places.

If NumberOfDigits is 0, the number is rounded to the nearest integer.

If NumberOfDigits is less than 0, the number is rounded to the left of the decimal point.
