AMORLINC DAX Function (Financial)
Returns the depreciation for each accounting period. This function is provided for the French accounting system. If an asset is purchased in the middle of the accounting period, the prorated depreciation is taken into account.

Return values
Remarks
Basis sets the day-count method. Use 0 or omit the value for 360 days (NASD method). Use 1 for actual days. Use 3 for 365 days in a year. Use 4 for 360 days in a year (European method). Other values, including 2, return an error.
Period 0 is the first period, from Date_purchased to First_period. The depreciation of this period is prorated. Period and Basis are rounded to the nearest integer. The total depreciation of all the periods is Cost minus Salvage. After the asset is fully depreciated, the function returns 0.
Cost must be 0 or greater. Salvage must be 0 or greater, and not greater than Cost. Period must be 0 or greater. Rate must be greater than 0. Date_purchased must not be later than First_period.
